Are The Lakers Going To Draft LiAngelo Ball? Looks Like We Have An Answer

LiAngelo Ball e

The Los Angeles Lakers reportedly aren’t interested in bringing LiAngelo Ball onto the squad.

The New York Times’ Marc Stein tweeted Wednesday, “A dribble of draft scuttle for those interested: The Lakers had LiAngelo Ball in for a well-chronicled workout this week but there is pessimism in the extreme coming out of L.A. today that the Lakers have any intentions for him … G-League or otherwise.” (SLIDESHOW: THESE GORGEOUS WOMEN LOVE BASKETBALL)

Well, that was fun while it lasted I guess. It just doesn’t look like we’re about to get Lonzo and LiAngelo on the same team. A real shame.

In all honestly, who didn’t see this coming from a mile away? The Lakers probably only worked him out as a favor to Lonzo and to keep LaVar shut the hell up. There’s no chance LiAngelo is good enough right now to be on an NBA roster. A G-League roster? Maybe, but there’s simply no way he’s good enough to be on an NBA roster.

He needs to get back to Europe or somewhere ASAP to play some more, get some more minutes on the court and develop a lot more before the NBA is a serious possibility.

Also, can’t wait to see LaVar’s reaction to this news. We all know that’s going to be electric.
