Montel Williams Has Been Admitted To Hospital Following Gym Emergency

Talk show host Montel William was admitted to a hospital in New York City following some kind of emergency after working out.

“Montel Williams has been admitted to the hospital. We have no further comment at this time,” Jonathan Franks, spokesperson for Williams shared in a statement released Thursday on Twitter.

“Anyone who knows Montel knows that he is an exercise enthusiast. Yesterday, he over did it and has been admitted to the hospital out of an abundance of caution,” he added. “He is doing well and anticipates being discharged soon.”

“The Williams family will be forever grateful for the quick response from NYFD and the excellent care he has received,” he continued.

Franks told TMZ the talk show host is expected to make a full recovery, but “we don’t take any chances when it comes to somebody with Multiple Sclerosis.”

He also shared that Montel is already eager to get back to work.

“We just had to cancel a speech and he’s extremely unhappy he won’t be able to give his speech tomorrow,” Franks explained.
