Apple CEO Tim Cook and other senior figures at the world’s richest company are about to reveal the future of the iPhone, iPad, Macs and every other product it makes.
The Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) – Apple’s annual developer conference – will see the technology giant announce the operating systems to power all of its products.
There’s little doubt that Apple will introduce software like iOS 12, the next update to the iPhone, which could include features to discourage people from using it. But other than that, rumours have been unusually lacking.
The highlight of Apple’s conference – the keynote, during which CEO Tim Cook will introduce those upgrades – will begin at 10am local time, or 6pm in the UK. The Independent will be covering all of the event and the fallout live from San Jose, where the event is being hosted.
