We’re officially one month away from the return of major college football.
The Wisconsin Badgers, America’s hardest working team, will take the field Aug. 31 against Western Kentucky. That’s exactly a month from today.
Ladies and gentlemen, we’re slowly edging towards the greatest day of the year. Yes, I recognize there are some minor games a few days earlier, but this is America. We don’t care about minor games. I hope the world is ready because they need to be for what is about to hit them. We’re coming hard and we’re as fast as we can fly. My Badgers are going to line up against teams and punch them in the face.

Let the battles begin. We have better players, we have better coaches and we have the best fans in the country. I simply can’t wait for the showdowns to begin. I’ll be sitting in Camp Randall after about a dozen cold beers. Let it begin, gentlemen. We’re now a month out.
