Michael Avenatti, the attorney for adult film star Stormy Daniels, says Donald Trump’s voice is on a number of other recordings seized from Michael Cohen, who worked as a lawyer for the president.
Avenatti made his comments on ABC’s “The View,” where he co-hosted on Friday.
“The single recording that was released about a week or two ago is not the only recording with Donald Trump’s voice,” he said.
“I can tell you that for a fact. There are other recordings. And this is another reason why we demanded that all of the other recordings be released so that people can listen to them, the press can go through them and report on them.”
Asked how many of the recordings contain the president’s voice, he said: “A number of them. I don’t have an exact count. There’s certainly more than one.”
Avenatti’s client sued Cohen and Trump in March in an attempt to get a court ruling that a non-disclosure agreement is invalid because it lacks the president’s signature. She alleges to have had an affair with Trump in 2006 and was paid $130,000 to sign the agreement.
