The Drug Demi Lovato Reportedly Overdosed On Has Been Revealed. It’s Very Bad

Demi Lovato reportedly overdosed on Oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

According to TMZ, Lovato allegedly texted her usual drug dealer following a party and wanted him to come to her house with the supplies. That’s when things took a tragic turn. (RELATED: HERE ARE THE GREATEST DEMI LOVATO PHOTOS ON THE INTERNET [SLIDESHOW])

TMZ reported the following details:

Sources with direct knowledge tell us, Demi had been at a party in WeHo following a birthday celebration at Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip. After the drug dealer got the text, he came to her house [with] we’re told the 2 freebased Oxycodone on tin foil.

Our sources say unbeknownst to Demi, the drug dealer had a bad habit of buying dirty drugs from Mexico … and the batch in question appeared to be laced with fentanyl — that’s the same drug that killed Prince and Lil Peep.

We’re told the dealer fled her home when he noticed she was in bed, breathing very heavily.

Lovato has since entered rehab after spending two weeks in the hospital. Judging from the latest report and all the other details we’ve learned, it really does sound like the singing sensation is lucky to be alive. (RELATED: DEMI LOVATO CHECKS INTO REHAB FOLLOWING NEARLY 2-WEEK HOSPITAL STAY)

I’ll never understand why somebody feels the need to take drugs that are an immediate threat to their safety and could possibly end their lives. We’re not talking about smoking a little weed. We’re talking about allegedly taking Oxycodone laced with fentanyl. That’s some serious stuff. Lovato should count her blessings. Lots of people have been in her situation and never got another shot at life.

Hopefully, Lovato gets the help she needs. She’s a generational talent, and the entertainment world is much better off when she’s doing her thing.

Addiction is an ugly struggle. It takes a strong person to kick that beast, and I hope Lovato gets it done.
