Katrina Pierson Defends Trump's 'Dog' Slur: 'Omarosa Bit the Hand That Fed Her'

Trump 2020 campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson and Fox News’ Ed Henry got into a wild on-air melee Tuesday night over whether it was appropriate for President Donald Trump to have called former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman a “dog.”

“You have a son … you love him very much. I’m going to leave the president out of this. Do you raise your son to call a woman, any woman in this country, a dog?” Henry asked Pierson.

“Well, this isn’t about my son,” Pierson said.

“No I’m not going to let you do that,” Henry shot back.

“We’re talking about someone who built her entire career …” Pierson continued.

“Pardon me, pardon me,” Henry interrupted, cutting her off. “Let’s leave your son out of it then, and leave the president out of it. Would it be appropriate for me to call a woman a dog? Yes or no.”

“It depends on what she did to you,” Pierson replied.

“It depends?” Henry asked.

“Omarosa bit the hand that fed her. To me, that’s what a dog is. The president has referenced several men as dogs, like Ted Cruz, like Mitt Romney, like Brent Bozell. He has said this to a number of people This is not just for Omarosa.”

“Take off your Trump hat,” Henry said. “As a woman, do you think it’s appropriate for any man to call a woman a dog? Really?”

“Look as a woman, as a strong black woman, I think everyone should be able to defend themselves the best way they see fit, Ed,” Pierson said.

Manigault Newman is currently promoting her memoir, “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.”
