The college football season has almost arrived, and that means it’s time for another walk down memory lane.
One of the greatest football games I’ve ever watched was when the Wisconsin Badgers ran top-ranked Ohio State off of the field at Camp Randall back in 2010.
Back in those days, I was a young college student at Montana State in Bozeman working for the basketball team. It was a hell of an interesting year, but I never missed my Wisconsin Badger games at any point in time. (RELATED: THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL WORLD SHOULD FEAR WISCONSIN FOR ONE SIMPLE REASON)
The day of the game, we had a late practice that I had to rush home from to catch the kickoff. It was a bloodbath from start to finish. James White and John Clay put on a clinic as the Badgers won 31-18. Plus, it might have had the coolest start to a college game that I’ve ever seen when David Gilreath ran back the opening kick off. Like I said, OSU got run off the field.
Soak up the highlights, and crack a beer to prepare for the first week of games.
