A large percentage of people think it’s time for the Michigan Wolverines to move on from head football coach Jim Harbaugh.
I asked people on Twitter, “Should Michigan fire Jim Harbaugh?” Of the nearly 3,500 voters, just over 60 percent voted for the current head coach to be shown the door.
Should Michigan fire Jim Harbaugh?

I don’t know if Harbaugh needs to be fired today, but that time is rapidly approaching if things don’t turn around quickly. All we’ve heard about for the past few years is that he just needs a quarterback to get Michigan rolling again. Well, he now has Shea Patterson, and Michigan’s offense looked as pathetic as ever. Nothing changed. In fact, I could make an argument that it got much worse. His team’s play against Notre Dame might be the worst I’ve ever seen out of one of his teams. I want Michigan to be good so badly. It’s no fun when you beat up on a trash Michigan team. It just doesn’t feel right at all. The Big Ten and college football are better off when the Wolverines are playing like a well-oiled machine, which is something we haven’t seen in a very long time.
There are plenty of problems with the program, and I don’t have all the answers. What I do know for sure is that Harbaugh is running out of time. You don’t get a decade to make Michigan great again. Boosters and fans are nearing the end of their patience. He goes .500 this season, and he might be looking for a new job by December.
