NBC: FBI Director Wray in Trump's Dog House

President Donald Trump has reportedly added FBI Director Christopher Wray to the list of key administration officials in the dog house.

Trump has criticized Wray as another figure in the Justice Department — along with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — who isn’t protecting his interests, NBC News reported, citing three unnamed sources.

Trump is “in the worst mood of his presidency and calling friends and allies to vent about his selection of Sessions and Wray,” one source told NBC News, who added Trump was particularly focused on the pair over the Labor Day weekend.

Trump has often tweeted his ire at the Russia probethe FBI and Justice Department, and has called out Sessions by name.

But until now, he hasn’t called out Wray — appointed by Trump after he fired former Director James Comey — pointing to issues like the FBI’s resistance to turn over documents to congressional Republicans, NBC News reported.
