Pelosi Loses Train Of Thought Mid-Sentence

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi made up a confusing new catchphrase on Friday, asserting “the sooner the money … the better it is.”


Pelosi was discussing the response to Hurricane Florence in the Carolinas during her usual weekly press conference and asserted that “time is the most valuable commodity” before opining about the speed of money. (RELATED: Confusion: Nancy Pelosi Messes Up A Chant She Started) 

“Time is the most valuable commodity and the money that goes with it. The sooner the money, uh,” Pelosi said, pausing to recall how she wanted to end the sentence before stating, “the better it is.”

“At a time of need is beyond their control. It’s not need of something incremental, it’s drastic. Need,” Pelosi continued, before asserting that natural disasters are “very predictable.”

In July, Pelosi combined three different Democratic Party slogans, stating, “Democrats are here to offer a better deal, for the people, with better jobs, better wages and a better future. (RELATED: Nancy Pelosi Bungles New Slogan Of Democratic Party)
