Donald Trump Jr. was greeted by both protesters and supporters while promoting his new book at UCLA.
The story: Trump arrived at the university Sunday to promote his book “Triggered: How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us” where some of the audience members welcomed him with chants of “USA! USA!”
However, the chants were quickly replaced with shouts of “Q and A” and “America First” from a group of conservative protesters who complained that Trump and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, would not take questions from them “due to time constraints.”
As the shouting went on, Trump Jr. tried to explain that answering questions from the floor could create soundbites that the liberal media could abuse and distort, according to the Guardian.

“I’m willing to listen…” Trump Jr. started.
“Q and A! Q and A!” the audience shouted.
“We’ll go into the lion’s den and talk …” he continued.
“Then open the Q and A!” the crowd responded.
Guilfoyle criticized the hecklers, saying they were not making their “parents proud by being rude and disruptive and discourteous.”
“Let me tell you something,” she said as the chanting continued. “I bet you engage and go on online dating. Because you’re impressing no one here to get a date in person.”
Twenty minutes in, Trump and Guilfoyle left the event, which was supposed to last about 2 hours.
The protesters were part of the “America First” movement, led by white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes, which claims to support President Trump. The White House, however, has tried to distance itself from the group due to the group’s denial that the Nazis killed 6 million Jews during World War II, the Daily Mail reported.
