What Does Nvidia-Arm Deal Mean for the Chip Industry?

Sep.17 — Mehdi Hosseini, senior semiconductors analyst at Susquehanna Financial Group, talks about the Santa Clara, California-based Nvidia Corp.’s agreement to buy SoftBank Group Corp.’s chip division Arm Ltd. for $40 billion, and the Trump administration’s decision to ban exports of U.S. technologies and equipment to China’s Huawei Technologies Co. Nvidia is the biggest manufacturer of semiconductors that make video games run on computers as realistically as possible.  Hosseini speaks with Tom Mackenzie on “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”
