URGENT: Japan's July-Sept. GDP grows annualized real 21.4%

Japan’s economy in the July-September period grew an annualized real 21.4 percent from the previous quarter, rebounding from the initial impact of the novel coronavirus pandemic, government data showed Monday.The expansion in gross domestic product, the total value of goods and services produced in the country adjusted for inflation, corresponds to a 5.0 percent increase on a seasonally-adjusted quarterly basis, according to the preliminary data released by the Cabinet Office.
