Ariana Grande and other performers sent words of support Tuesday to Demi Lovato after news broke that the singer had been hospitalized for an apparent heroin overdose.
“I love u @ddlovato,” Grande wrote on Twitter, after TMZ reported that the 25-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital from her Hollywood Hills home after first responders found her unconscious.
Lovato’s aunt, Kerissa Dunn, has since posted a message on her social media account that the singer was “awake and responsive.” (RELATED: What Demi Lovato Did This Weekend During A Performance Will Melt Your Heart)

Hi so staying sober is really fucking hard and if you have anything other than supportive things to say about those struggling with addiction/alcoholism, you can go ahead and unfollow.

praying for @ddlovato and her health. When I was 14, she was an idol to me in how she spoke so openly about mental health. And now she continues to inspire thousands of young men and women with her body positivity messages. Addiction and mental illness doesn’t discriminate.

“Tonight I took the stage, a new person with a new life. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. It will never be forgotten,” the singer captioned her Instagram post.
