The Oakland A’s extended their win streak to nine games with a 7-0 win over the Minnesota Twins in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon. The A’s win streak is the longest active in the majors, and their longest since they won nine straight from Aug. 1 to Aug. 9 in 2020. The seven-inning game was rescheduled due to Monday’s game being postponed for extra testing and contact tracing after an outbreak in the Twins’ organization.
