Bamford penalty gives Leeds win over Burnley

Leeds United moved up to 11th in the Premier League on Sunday after a 1-0 home win against Burnley. Patrick Bamford earned a fifth minute penalty after he was chopped down by Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope and smashed the spot-kick into the top right corner. Burnley thought they had levelled when Ashley Barnes hit a quick fire shot into an open net as Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier came out of his area to try and catch the ball.
