Baseball: Seibu acquires southpaw Yoshikawa from Nippon Ham for cash

The Seibu Lions have added bullpen depth by acquiring left-handed pitcher Mitsuo Yoshikawa from the Nippon Ham Fighters in exchange for cash considerations, the two Pacific League teams said Friday.The 32-year-old Yoshikawa had a breakout season in 2012, when he was named the PL MVP after going 14-5 with a Nippon Professional Baseball-best 1.71 ERA in 25 games.”We were dying to get a lefty.
