Commentary: Will Congress play politics with the PRO Act, or listen to workers?

Earlier this month, congressional Democrats reintroduced the PRO Act, which in addition to ending “right-to-work” laws in 27 states would force most independent contractors to become traditional employees. Many people are rightly concerned about independent workers, who are restricted from enjoying the same benefits as traditional employees.
