Crowds gather to support Nepalese leader in fight about parliament

Tens of thousands of supporters of Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli gathered in Kathmandu on Friday to back their leader in an ongoing dispute about his recent decision to dissolve the country’s parliament. The supporters, many of them carrying flags of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), rallied in the capital before assembling outside the former royal palace.
