Demonstrations held in Berlin and Dusseldorf for Navalny's release

Around 2,000 people have demonstrated in Berlin for the release of Alexei Navalny, a leading opposition figure imprisoned in Russia. The number of participants was given by a police spokesperson on Saturday evening. The “Freedom for Navalny” protest marched past the Russian embassy and ended in front of the nearby landmark Brandenburg Gate. The process was “trouble-free,” the spokesperson said.
