Eight instead of 12 cylinders: Bentley's slightly cheaper Flying Spur

Bentley is admitting its Flying Spur could be cheaper – but not that much cheaper. Just under a year after the Flying Spur’s launch, Bentley is toning down the luxury saloon’s over-achieving engine with a version featuring ‘just’ eight cylinders instead of 12. Four fewer cylinders and two litres of displacement less comes with a discount of roughly 10-per-cent, and in Europe this means the a price drop of 25,000 euros to 193,137 euros.
