Ex-premier Renzi praises Draghi as government talks continue in Italy

Italy’s former prime minister Matteo Renzi praised Mario Draghi on Wednesday as the former head of the European Central Bank (ECB) continued talks to form a new government. “He is the Italian who saved the euro, now he is the Italian who will save Italy,” Renzi told German newspaper Die Zeit.
