Afikra is a commonly used Arabic phrase expressing a Eureka moment; a re-contemplation, reconsideration, or as we say in English, “on second thoughts”. It captures with precision the vision of an organisation with the same name, curious and impassioned about Arab history and culture — founded by former teacher and activist, Mikey Muhanna.
