Former Argentine president Menem dies aged 90

Former Argentinian president Carlos Menem has died at the age of 90, the Telam news agency reported on Sunday citing relatives. Menem died on Sunday in a clinic in Buenos Aires, to which he was admitted in December with a urinary tract infection. The current Argentine President Alberto Fernandez expressed his condolences and ordered three days of national mourning. Menem, who was a senator until the end of his life, was placed into a coma after his health deteriorated in the clinic.
