G-20 to agree to forgive part of poor nations' debts amid pandemic

Finance chiefs of the Group of 20 major economies will agree to forgive part of the debts owed by poor countries in an additional step to help them take measures against the coronavirus pandemic, sources close to the matter said Monday.The G-20 finance ministers and central bank governors are aiming to reach the agreement when they meet online on Nov. 13.
