Geraghty-Moats wins inaugural women's Nordic combined World Cup event

American Tara Geraghty-Moats made history on Friday by becoming the first winner of a women’s Nordic combined skiing World Cup event. Geraghty-Moats lived up to her top billing when she rallied from sixth after a morning normal hill ski-jump to first in the ensuing 5-kilometre cross-country pursuit in 13 minutes 58.3 seconds in Ramsau, Austria.
