Alexander Gauland, a founding member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and leader of its faction in the Bundestag, left a conference held by the far-right party on Sunday for health reasons, a member confirmed to dpa.Gauland suffered a minor health issue but this was not serious, according to a senior member of the party executive.Gauland, aged 79, had felt unwell in the morning but was not suffering from anything serious.
