German health minister bemoans 'patchwork quilt' over fan returns

German Health Minister Jens Spahn has criticized the “patchwork quilt” which has emerged across the country with regards to whether and how many fans can return to football stadiums.The federal government had wanted Bundesliga games to be played behind closed doors until a reassessment of the coronavirus risk in late October.
