Ghosn meeting with French investigators postponed: lawyers

A meeting between fugitive ex-auto tycoon Carlos Ghosn and French judicial investigators in Beirut, initially set for next week, will be postponed because of a fresh coronavirus lockdown, Ghosn’s defence team told AFP on Tuesday. “By mutual agreement between the French and Lebanese investigative judges as well as the defence lawyers, it was decided to postpone the arrival of the French judges to a later date,” Jean Tamalet of the King & Spalding law firm said on behalf of the team.
