Iran resumes enriching uranium to 20%

Iran on Monday announced it has resumed uranium enrichment to a purity level of 20 percent at its Fordow underground nuclear facility, according to local media. “The 20-percent enrichment started a few hours ago after gas injection, and the first UF-6 product will be ready later in the day,” Ali Rabiee was quoted as saying by the ISNA news agency, referring to a compound used in the process of enriching uranium.
