We’re now officially a week away from the first full slate of Saturday college football games.
This upcoming Thursday gives us UCF, on Friday we get Wisconsin, MSU and Stanford on the field and then Saturday gives us everything we’ve waited all year for. Who is excited? College football represents everything that is correct with this world. It’s all about young men putting on their uniforms and laying it all out on the line for their schools. As Herb Brooks said, “The name on the front means a hell of a lot more than the name on the back.” (RELATED: SEC FANS DON’T LIKE TO USE FACTS WHEN DISCUSSING COLLEGE FOOTBALL)
I honestly can’t wait for these games to be back. It’s like a part of my soul has been missing for the past eight months, and I’m finally getting it back. America is going to be okay once football returns. All of you out there know what I’m talking about.
There will be beers on ice, there will be plenty of food being made, I’ll be slinging the football around and the Badgers will be marching towards a national title.
