Japan logs goods trade surplus of 751.0 bil. yen in Dec.

Japan logged a goods trade surplus of 751.0 billion yen in December, government data showed Thursday. Exports rose 2.0 percent from a year earlier, while imports decreased 11.6 percent, according to a preliminary report by the Finance Ministry. In 2020, Japan posted a goods trade surplus of 674.7 billion yen, swinging back to the black for the first time in three years.
