Johaug obliterates the field for 10km gold at Nordic worlds

Norway’s Therese Johaug destroyed the opposition with the biggest winning margin in 53 years in the 10- kilometres cross country ski race at the world championships on Wednesday. Imperious Johaug made it two golds from two races in Oberstdorf and a dozen career world titles as she won back-to-back titles and a third overall over the distance. She led at all splits of the freestyle interval start race en route to victory in 23 minutes 9.8 seconds.
