Judge Grants Biden Administration’s Request To Delay Turning Over Trump’s Tax Returns To Congress

The Biden administration has another month to decide what their next move will be in the court fight over former President Donald Trump‘s tax-returns, after a ruling given by a federal judge on Wednesday in the case. The administration asked Judge Trevor McFadden to wait until March 3 for their decision because of the “still-ongoing transition to new leadership at the Department of the Treasury and the Department of Justice.” House Democrats are suing the Treasury on the basis of a law that allows heads of Congress’ tax committees to investigate individuals’ private tax records.
