Michael King comes to Yankees rescue after Domingo German struggles to get out of third inning

Michael King had a good idea that he didn’t fit in the Yankees rotation when the team broke camp this spring. The right hander came into spring training trying to find his niche and came up with the idea that his goal was to give the Yankees 100 solid innings however they want to use them. Sunday, he got off to a good start with six scoreless innings in relief of Domingo German as the Yankees fell to the Blue Jays 3-1 in front of a “sell out” crowd of 10,066 at the Stadium. King saved the Yankees bullpen when Domingo German could not get past the third inning and kept the Yankees in the game. …
