Minnesota cancels Saturday's game against Wisconsin because of COVID-19

MINNEAPOLIS — For just the second time in 130 years, Minnesota will not face Wisconsin in football.A rise in COVID-19 cases on the Gophers forced the athletic department to pause all team activities and thus call off Saturday’s game in Madison, Wis., marking the first interruption since 1906 of a border rivalry that dates back to 1890.
