Myanmar sees first street protests against military coup

Protesters in Myanmar took to the streets on Thursday, three days after the military seized power and detained leading politicians including de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi. Images broadcast by Mizzima TV showed mainly young people demonstrating against the coup at the medical faculty of a university in the northern metropolis of Mandalay.
