Rep. Tom Malinowski, barely re-elected in 2020, brought in more money than ever before as he prepares to defend his seat in 2022. Malinowski, D-7th Dist., raised $923,020 from Jan. 1 to March 31, new Federal Election Commission filings show. That’s more than he previously raised in any three-month period during in any three-month period in either 2017 or 2019, the off-years before Election Day.
