Pinturault edges Kristoffersen for parallel GS win in Lech

France’s Alexis Pinturault produced two superb final runs to edge out Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway and win his 30th career World Cup at Friday’s parallel slalom in Lech/Zuers, Austria.The 29-year-old Pinturault won by just 0.11 seconds over both runs in the event which saw skiers face off in head-to-head knock-out clashes to determine the winner.Pinteruault led by 0.16 seconds from the first run in the final and held on despite losing 5 hundredths to Kristoffersen in the second run.The Frenchman now leads the overall standings after two events on 150 points with Kristoffersen second on 125.A…
