Saturday was a sad day for the Royal family, as they laid Prince Philip to rest, a week after his passing. A private funeral service for the Duke of Edinburgh took place at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. A note written by Queen Elizabeth was left on top of her husband’s coffin. While photos were not able to clearly read the note, the Queen reportedly signed the letter “Lilibet,” a nickname from her childhood.
