Race at top of Serie A gets tighter after Milanese sides crash

Leaders AC Milan and second-placed crosstown rivals Inter Milan were bruised in a midweek round that saw several chasers draw closer in the Serie A table. Milan lost 3-1 to champions Juventus which ended an unbeaten run of 27 league games, and they are again at home against struggling but gritty Torino on Saturday.
