Angelina Jolie is reportedly in jeopardy of losing custody of her and Brad Pitt’s six children if she doesn’t fix the kids “relationship with their father.”
A judge overseeing the divorce case ruled that the kids “not having a relationship with their father is harmful to them,” and that “it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with their father and mother,” according to documents obtained by The Blast Tuesday.
“If the minor children remain closed down to their father and depending on the circumstances surrounding this condition, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with [Jolie] and may result in the Court ordering primary physical custody to [Pitt],” the judge added.
The actress was also reportedly ordered by the judge to set up a phone call between the kids and their doctors to let them know that “the court has determined that each of them are safe with their father.”
The remarks follow an incident in 2016 when Pitt was accused of child abuse aboard a private jet involving one of the couple’s kids. He was later cleared of the charge.
Another issue dealt with the children’s cell phone usage and that Pitt must have their numbers and be able to communicate with them without any interference, including Jolie possibly reading text messages between them and or setting up a number that allows her to monitor their conversation.
Jolie and Pitt announced they were separating back in 2016 after being together for more than 12 years. The couple’s custody battle became very public for a few months after Jolie said she wanted full custody of the children. Later, the two agreed to keep things private for the sake of the kids and seal the custody documents.
