Reports: Paris court pauses Sarkozy corruption trial until Thursday

The corruption trial of former French president Nicolas Sarkozy was suspended shortly after it commenced on Monday, French media reported.The decision was made following a request by Gilbert Azibert, one of the other defendants, that the trial be postponed for personal health reasons. He was not in court on Monday.In response, the court paused the trial until Thursday and ordered a medical report on Azibert, news channel BFMTV reported.
