Arnold Schwarzenegger criticized the administration’s zero tolerance policy and said lawmakers who fail to take action on immigration reform are the ones who belong in cages.
The former California governor and actor made his comments in tweets on Tuesday night.
The administration is right that we need to fix our immigration system. But if anybody is going to be in a cage while we wait for a comprehensive reform, let’s make it the politicians who don’t do their jobs in the cages, not innocent kids.

The Hill noted Schwarzenegger, a Republican, has been a frequent critic of President Donald Trump in the past. Last December, he attended a climate summit in France after Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris climate agreement.
