Soccer: Japan to host Club World Cup in Dec. 2021

Japan will host the FIFA Club World Cup in December 2021, holding it with seven teams as usual rather than under the expanded format that had been eyed for a now-postponed event in China, the FIFA Council said Friday during an online meeting.
