Soccer: Postponed Levain Cup to be held on Jan. 4

The J-League said Thursday that the postponed Levain Cup final between Kashiwa Reysol and FC Tokyo will be held on Jan. 4 next year at Tokyo’s National Stadium.Initially scheduled to be held last Saturday, the final of Japan’s league cup competition was postponed due to an outbreak of coronavirus infections at Reysol, including a positive result from manager Nelsinho.The Levain Cup is one of the three major soccer titles in Japan, along with the J-league first-division crown and the Emperor’s Cup.
