South Korea's parliament votes to remove a judge from office

South Korea’s parliament has voted to remove a judge from office for the first time in the country’s history. The majority of members of the National Assembly decided on Thursday to initiate impeachment proceedings against Judge Lim Seong Geun, who serves on the Busan High Court, South Korean broadcasters and the national news agency Yonhap reported. Lim is accused of abusing his judicial powers under the government of former president Park Geun Hye.
