South Korea's president nominates new health minister

South Korea’s President Moon Jae In has nominated a new health minister amid a new wave of the coronavirus pandemic. The current Minister of Health and Welfare, Park Neung Hoo, is to be replaced by the director of the Korean Institute for Health Industry Development, Kwon Deok Cheol. Kwon has helped lay the foundation for the government’s health and social policy, Moon’s office said on Friday. The presidential office gave no reason for the replacement of Park.
