Southampton up to fifth after comeback win at Brighton

Danny Ings scored a penalty nine minutes from time as Southampton won 2-1 at Brighton on Monday to go fifth in the Premier League. Ings converted from the spot after Kyle Walker-Peters was fouled by Solly March, but the penalty was only given after VAR ruled that the foul – originally given outside the penalty area – was inside the box.
